Tulips flowers in Holland

This nice pictures I have received from my sister yesterday and I really liked them so, I have conducted a comprehensive search about the topic and I have planned to post them.

Flowers are grown in the Netherlands, in the last month of October and early November, and the number of follicles per year to more than 3 billion, and tulips are harvested in the month of May, and two thirds of those are exported flowers after harvest to the United States and Germany. Of all the bulbous plants, the tulip is without a doubt the most popular. Tulips are grown on an extremely large scale, especially in the Netherlands where their history goes back to the end of the sixteenth century. That was when the first tulips were noticed growing in the vicinity of Leiden. Now, more than 400 years later, billions of tulips are being cultivated, the vast majority of them being exported from Holland. This goes not only for dry bulb sales but also for the cut flowers produced from the tulip bulbs. These cut flowers, available year-round in principle, are most in demand from November to May. The 'garden tulips' are the result of hybridization in which the species Tulips geriatrician played an important role. Now there are more than 3,000 cultivated varieties registered, more being added each year to replace older varieties. The tulip is a beautiful flower, and also a cheerful reminder of Spring. Mixed Tulips
Tulips are one of the most popular spring flowers of all time, and the third most popular flower world-wide next only to the Rose and Chrysanthemum. Holland is most known for these showy and colorful flowers. In the 17th century Tulips were used as currency. Holland loved the tulips, and tulips became a status of wealth and prestige. The tulip bulbs became so popular that “tulipomania” developed early in the 17th century between 1634 and 1637. Tulips symbolize imagination, dreaminess, perfect lover, and a declaration of love.
